Godwin Onyeke, Managing Director, Access Bank PLC Insurance has advised newly admitted learners of Zulfah Academy to be committed to activities that will be beneficial to their career.
Onyeke, the guest lecturer, gave the advice on Wednesday at the matriculation of no fewer than 50 learners admitted for different courses in the educational institute.
The event took place at Zulfah Academy’s new office in Maryland, Lagos.
“Congratulations to you all, I urge you to invest your time wisely by engaging in academic activities that will enable you achieve the purpose for which you are here,” he said.
Also speaking, Abayomi Ajao, Zulfah Academy’s team leader, noted that imparting knowledge is the academy’s priority, urging matriculants to key into it.
According to him, the academy offers special plans for its learners to make learning comfortable amid the economic situation in the country.
He listed special offers which include self-sponsorship and financier investment plans.
Ajao explained the Self Sponsorship Plan (SSP) as a “Pay-Learn-Earn”, being a payment plan where prospective learners either sponsor themselves and/or a third party from the learner to help with the training costs.
“We are confident that our training and career support will lead to a high-paying job for the learner after going through our six-month intensive training.
“Also, learners who cannot afford the boot camp fees can opt for the FIP (Financier Investment Plan), This is a “Learn-Earn-Pay” action plan.
“Here, Zulfah and its financier partners will agree to sponsor learners throughout the programme under which the student agrees to pay XY % of their post-training income for XY months as agreed by the candidate and the financier partner.” he said.
He disclosed that Zulfah delivers an intensive six-month programme where software developers learn Frontend development, Backend development, Fullstack development and additional soft skills in an immersive environment.
“Through an agile delivery methodology, mentor matching and leadership modules, our software engineers are equipped with techniques and a leadership mindset that enables them to work competitively in any team globally.
“As part of our curriculum, Zulfah exposes its engineers to real-life applications and projects.
“During these projects, we ensure learners are well-equipped to develop programmes individually and as a team,”he said.
Ajao encouraged learners to give in their best in the course of the programmes, adding that many alumni of the academy were already working in reputable organisations.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Zulfah Academy is one of the leading software development academies in Nigeria. It offers Learn-Earn-Pay Plan For Nigerian Learners with payment after learning plan
