A Swedish citizen waiting for the train to return home immediately after leaving work. She bought a burger for her dinner. The name of this citizen is Ylva Johansson and her job is Minister of Labor in Sweden.
She has no caravan of cars, she has no line of guards. She doesn’t even have helpers. Sweden is a rich, developed country, but they show great discipline in the use of public funds.
Johansson was previously Minister for Schools from 1994 to 1998, Minister for Welfare and Elderly Healthcare from 2004 to 2006 and Minister for Employment from 2014 to 2019 in the Government of Sweden. She was a Member of Parliament from 1988 to 1991 and from 2006 to 2019, both times representing Stockholm Municipality.
