An Akure-based socialite and owner of a popular petrol station, Sesan Adelabu, has committed suicide after allegedly macheting his wife to death in Ondo State.
Adelabu, popularly known as ‘Emirate,’ was alleged to have killed his wife late Friday in the Alagbaka area of Akure, the state capital.
A source claimed that the man thereafter committed suicide by taking an insecticide suspected to be Sniper.
Police investigations are on while the corpses had been evacuated to the mortuary.
Police spokesperson in Ondo State, Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya could not be reached for comments at press time.
