Oluremi Tinubu Promotes Skill Acquisition in Youths

Senator Oluremi Tinubu has promised Nigerian youths increased opportunities for skill acquisition and empowerment.

She spoke at the conclusion of a three-day training program for 250 residents from the Lagos Central District in conjunction with the National Productivity Centre and assured the youths and women of regular opportunities for skill acquisition and empowerment.

Oluremi Tinubu said every young Nigerian deserves the right to acquire skills to become self-reliant adding that the opportunity will enable them to become entrepreneurs and employers of labor.

Represented by Hon. Wahab Alawiye-King, Mrs. Tinubu stated that the training and skills acquisition program, which has been implemented from time to time, has brought smiles to the faces of the people and contributed positively to the socio-economic development of Lagos State and the country at large.

Hon. Akeem Adeyemi, a member of the House of Representatives, also addressed the participants and stated that the empowerment will be implemented nationwide .

So far, the programme has benefited over 6,000 people in the Lagos Central Senatorial District.

The Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Hon. Moshood Mayegun, commended Mrs. Tinubu for her generosity to the people of her senatorial district.

Participants are expected to be trained in photography and confectionery among other things.
