Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has again reminded Nigerians on the necessary steps to take to ensure a safe NIN registration exercise.
NCC stressed that applicants, wearing face masks, should use one of the over 200 licensed Enrolment Centres and Agencies available to avoid large crowds.
It further advised that applicants should obey social distancing rules while they wait in the queue and stay at least 6 feet from the next person.
Furthermore, applicants should use a hand sanitiser frequently and avoid touching their eyes, nose and mouth as they wait.
