Lagos Govt Signs Agreement For 704-Unit Odonla-Odugunyan Housing Estate Project

Lagos State Government on Friday announced the official signing of an agreement to develop a major housing project in Ikorodu area of the state.

According to the statement posted on the official Facebook page of the Lagos State government, the Odonla-Odugunyan housing estate project will cover an expansive 9.98 hectares of land and feature 704 modern 2-bedroom apartments across 44 blocks.

“The Lagos State Government has signed the Odonla-Odugunyan housing estate project that will cover an impressive 9.98 hectares of land. It will feature 704 units spread across 44 blocks, all consisting of modern 2-bedroom apartments,” the post read.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had in an earlier post on his X handle, disclosed that the project is a collaborative initiative between the Lagos State Government and Access Bank Plc.

According to the governor, the estate will include a cinema house, a playground, a water treatment plant, well-constructed road networks, and other modern amenities.

His post read, “Today, I signed off on the Odonla-Odogunyan Housing Estate Project, a collaborative initiative between the Lagos State Government and Access Bank Plc. The housing estate will cover an impressive 9.98 hectares of land and will feature 704 units spread across 44 blocks, all consisting of modern 2-bedroom apartments.

“It will include a cinema house, a playground, a water treatment plant, well-constructed road networks, and other modern amenities. We’re not just building homes. We are focused on enhancing the living experience for our residents.”

The post was accompanied with picture of the agreement signing. In the pictures were Governor Sanwo-Olu, his deputy, Obafemi Hamzat, and others.
