On Tuesday, 2 March, 2021 (3:00 – 5:00 pm CET), the International Civil Society Centre (ICSC) will be hosting a launch of the Solidarity Playbook, a collection of case studies and best practices, on how international civil society organisations (ICSOs) and coalitions have developed resilience and solidarity mechanisms to deal with restrictions on civil society space and respond to changing operating conditions for civil society.
The organisation will share key findings and recommendations for ICSOs and coalitions how to build solidarity to strengthen collective action to defend and construct an enabling environment for civil society.
Founded in 2007, by Peter Eigen and Burkhard Gnärig, the International Civil Society Centre was set up to support international civil society organisations maximise their impact for a sustainable and more equitable world.
Basically, its mission is to strengthen the impact and resilience of international civil society organisations and to support people to change their world for the better.
Today, the Centre is owned by 15 of the largest international civil society organisations (ICSOs), who work across environmental, human rights, social justice and humanitarian issues.
