Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa state has bagged the Face of Africa Leadership Award for leadership. The annual award celebrates outstanding achievements in various fields .
It was tagged the ‘ People’s Governor of the Year award ‘ and organized by the Triangle Media International in partnership with the Face of Africa Leadership.
Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Daniel Alabrah received the award on the governor’s behalf on Friday in London, United Kingdom .
Governor Diri , while appreciating the award, said his administration will intensify its modest efforts at redefining the developmental narrative of Bayelsa State.
‘’As I have always stated, these accolades spur me and my administration to greater commitment to our focused vision for a better Bayelsa State. After eight years, our story as a state will be better told,’’ Diri noted .
