Chairman of Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Philip Aivoji, has regained his freedom after four days in captivity.
In a statement, State Publicity Secretary of PDP, Mr Hakeem Amode said Aivoji was released about 11pm on Sunday night and was taken to his home country in Badagry to reunite with his family.
The party leader was kidnapped around Ogere on Lagos/Ibadan Expressway while returning to Lagos after a PDP South-West Zonal meeting in Ibadan. The abductors had earlier demanded for a N200m ransom.
